STONE MAGAZINE DEBUTS IN GRAND STYLE: See Photos and Guests

It was a day of grandeur at the events hall of Pinewood hotels Owerri as Stone Magazine debuted amid a host of the society’s crème de la crème. Just like a story set and cast in stone, the dream became a reality conspicuous enough for all to see and tap motivations from. The official launch which took place recently in Owerri, Imo state featured prominent dignitaries from various walks of life including some notable Traditional monarchs from some ancient communities within the South East of the country who played the role of royal fathers.

It was Deputy Governor of Imo state Prince Eze Madumere MFR who was ably represented by his Principal Secretary Nze Chris Obinna Aharanwa (ksc, jp+) that chaired the ceremony. Chief Sir John Kennedy Opara the chairman National Pilgrims Commission Abuja was also represented by the south east coordinator of the commission. Among the notable dignitaries were Chief Longy N. Ibe (Anyanasomba) an Ex-Commissioner of Police, Chief Aloy Igwe (Ugochinyere) and his son Uche, Dr ( Mrs) Beatrice Uzoma-Uwandu who is currently the Permanent Secretary LGSC, Imo state government State, Uche-Bright Nwalue former radio presenter and Assistant Registrar in one of the south east Federal Universities, Chief &  Lolo Fabian Ekechukwu,Elegant Women of Ekwe community.
Highlights of the event were musical performances and fashion displays.The CEO/Publisher Amb.  Anokwute Anokwute expressed satisfaction at the birth and launch of the Magazine and promised to reach Africa and the world through it. According to the dark skinned fashionista, the magazine would rebirth fashion, lifestyle, events and political reportage consequently standing out as a beacon of hope for others to emulate. The Stone Magazine cake was also cut.
